Unfortunately this cable did not work with my system (likely hardware issue). I had to use the default cable that came with the drive.
Cable definitely works, and would be worth getting for the increased transfer rate vs USB 2.0 – Especially considering the data sizes you would be looking at.
Good cable length and now allows the drive to connect directly to the USB C port on my laptop.
